Tiger Cubs is owned and operated by Mark and Gretchen Mitchell. Gretchen will
spend all of her time at the center, helping in all classrooms, taking care of paperwork, and seeing that Tiger Cubs
meets and/or exceeds all expectations. The care and education of children at T.C. is top priority. Gretchen has
many years experience with children of all ages, through both in home and facility childcare. She has been employed
by the Hardin County Board of Education for 3 years as a substitute teacher and then as a full time teachers assistant in
Special Ed. Gretchen left the school system to open and operate a full scale childcare and preschool center for
2.5 years, which she sold while pregnant with Tommy so that she could put her own family first. She and
Mark have three children, Lacee (9), Mark Anthony (3), and Tommy (turning 1 in Oct 08)
I will in time have volunteers and subsitutes coming in to earn hours with their schooling and extra-curricular
activities. This will not happen without prior knowledge unless and emergent situation arose.
